For adults 25-55 with no prior degree, SUNY Reconnect pays tuition, fees, books, and supplies for adults seeking a higher-earning career path.
September 18, 2026 – Stone Ridge, NY – It’s never too late to start on a new career path – especially when attending college is free. SUNY Ulster is inviting adults interested in advancing or changing their careers to attend an upcoming info session about SUNY Reconnect, a program that allows adults with no prior degree to get an Associate Degree in high-demand fields. Beginning Fall 2026, students with a prior degree who enroll in the Nursing program may also be eligible.

Attending college can feel like a big step, especially when balancing work, family, and other responsibilities. SUNY Ulster offers lots of evening, weekend, and online classes in addition to in-person classes for added convenience. The Stone Ridge campus has childcare, and the Kingston Center has a study room with computers and a play area for completing assignments while your kids are present. The Kingston Center also has a stocked refrigerator full of free, healthy snacks.
