SUNY Ulster Encourages Enrollment in Advanced Manufacturing Courses
with Scholarships Available
January 20, 2026 – Stone Ridge, NY– SUNY Ulster is accepting registrations for its Advanced Manufacturing courses starting in late January and February, offering hands-on training and industry-recognized credentials for individuals seeking careers or advancement in manufacturing and related fields.
CNC Courses will be held in the new Gene Haas Advanced Manufacturing Center in Kingston, while Cut and Sew courses will be held in the new Commercial Sewing Lab on SUNY Ulster’s Stone Ridge Campus.
Thanks to the generosity of the Gene Haas Foundation, students may apply for full scholarships for eligible Advanced Manufacturing programs, helping to make training more accessible to the community. Apply Now!
Courses include:
- CAD, CAM, and CNC Machining: Mondays, Feb. 23 – May 4 from 6-9:45 p.m.
- CNC Operator I: Wednesdays, Feb. 18 – May 6 from 6-9:45 p.m.
- CNC Operator II: Wednesdays, Feb. 18 – May 6 from 6-9:45 p.m.
- Fundamentals of Electricity: Wednesdays, Feb. 18 – May 6 from 8:40 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Commercial Sewing: Mondays, Jan. 26 – May 11 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
