September 21, 2021 – Kingston, NY – SUNY Ulster invites the regional community to a Career Exploration Expo at the Kingston Center on 94 Mary’s Ave. on October 16. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. No registration is required.
This one-day event is organized for job seekers, career changers, and college-bound high school students. It is an opportunity to get your resume reviewed, have a professional headshot taken, learn about training & academic programs, discover financial support options, and connect with companies and temp agencies looking to hire.
Companies from around the region in fields such as manufacturing, health and medical services, the arts, technology, and more will be on site including Markertek, Children’s Home of Kingston, Greystone Programs, Ellenville Regional Hospital, Global Foundries, The Arc Mid-Hudson, Archcare at Ferncliff Nursing Home, WineRacks.com, Inc., NYCDEP Bureau of Water Supply, and the Ulster County Office of Employment & Training.
SUNY Ulster’s Department of Professional and Continuing Education has a long and successful track record of responding to the needs of regional residents and employers, preparing individuals with the education, skills, and support necessary to bring job seekers and growing industries together to fill rewarding positions. This Career Exploration Expo is aligned with what employers say they need now and in the future.
